Subscription Diet collects and stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Subscription data you enter (name, price, billing dates, category, notes)
• App settings and preferences (currency, notification preferences, reminder settings)
• Premium purchase status (stored securely using device encryption)

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide the app's functionality:

• To display your subscriptions and spending insights
• To send local notifications for renewal reminders (if enabled)
• To enable premium features if you have purchased them
• To calculate monthly and yearly spending projections

⚠️ We do not use your data for: advertising, analytics, tracking, or any other purpose beyond app functionality.

Local Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device using industry-standard secure storage mechanisms:

• AsyncStorage for subscription and settings data
• SecureStore for premium purchase status (encrypted storage)

This data never leaves your device and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

This app uses minimal third-party services:

• Expo (app framework) - for app functionality and development tools
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store - handles in-app purchases. Their privacy policies apply to payment processing. We do not receive or store your payment details.

ℹ️ We do not use: advertising networks, analytics services, tracking tools, or any data collection platforms.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we use local notifications to remind you about upcoming subscription renewals. These notifications are scheduled and stored locally on your device. We do not send push notifications or access external notification services.

Data Export

Premium users can export their data in JSON or CSV format. This export is performed locally on your device, and you choose where to share the exported data. We do not have access to exported data.

GDPR Compliance (EU Users)

For users in the European Economic Area: Since we do not collect or process personal data on external servers, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are inherently satisfied. All data remains under your exclusive control on your device. No data transfers occur outside your device.

CCPA Compliance (California Users)

For California residents: We do not sell, share, or disclose personal information to third parties. We do not collect personal information as defined under CCPA. You have the right to know what data is collected (stored locally on your device only), request deletion (uninstall the app), and opt-out of sale (not applicable).

Children's Privacy

Subscription Diet is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The app contains no user accounts, no data collection, and no social features.

Your Rights & Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All data is visible within the app
• Delete: Uninstall the app to remove all data

No account creation is required to use this app.
